Feathering a Selection
Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 7. The methods used are compatible with Paint Shop Pro 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.

| 1 Open an existing picture.
|
2 Add a new raster layer (Layers>New Raster Layer). Create a selection  as shown below (selection type can be Freehand, Ellipse, Rectangle, etc). I used circular selection on this example; selection feather is set to 50. Note that your selection feather depends on the actual size of your image.
